For over four decades, La Salière has been storytellers of Italian heritage, born from both ambition and tradition. As the prestigious Fontvieille district rose from the Monaco waters during an era of transformation, The Frittella family, whose culinary legacy stretches back to 1720 with La Sibilla restaurant in Tivoli, opened La Salière's doors in the heart of this new cultural landmark in 1982. Our name pays homage to Benvenuto Cellini's golden salt cellar masterpiece created for King Francis I of France, and just as Cellini's work represented the harmony between Earth and Sea through the figures of Cybele and Neptune, La Salière bridges the timeless traditions of Italy with the refined atmosphere of the French Riviera.

Our restaurant found its home in a neighborhood where streets bear the names of Renaissance masters: Giotto, Donatello, Michelangelo, Botticelli, and Cimabue. This artistic heritage flows through everything we do, from our olive tree in our logo, symbolizing peace and our deep connection to Mediterranean soil, to our commitment to elevating dining into an art form. Today, we're honored to bring this legacy to Naples, Florida, our first expansion beyond the city that shaped our identity, continuing the story that began centuries ago in the hills of Tivoli and flourished along the Mediterranean coast.
